This role is an in-person position, working within our Lindsay Office.

How You Will Create An Impact
Accountable for tasks including communication management, issue evaluation and response, payments, written and verbal communication, and internal reporting requirements. Requires minimal support for issues with greater complexity
Review queries and complaints and takes action, where necessary. Receives minimal support, where required, in managing complex queries or complaints
Demonstrated ability to maintain adherence to respect of confidential information as required
Responds expediently and transparently in acknowledging and correcting mistakes or missed timelines
Manage the tracking and ordering of stationary supplies for CMIG
Manage mailroom tasks relevant to both incoming and outgoing Canada Post & courier services
Handling high volume of incoming/outgoing/transferring of telephony calls
Participate in the research and development of process improvements in dedication to continuous improvement relevant to role
Assist departmental team as required in document management, administration and document retention
Supporting the Customer Experience Hub by adding and deleting users, resending E-documents and providing policy data downloads to brokers
What You Will Bring
Completion of Secondary School Diploma
Previous experience handling multi line phone system
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task is required
Thorough attention to detail is a must to ensure accuracy of documents
Ability to perform moderate mathematical calculations is required
Effective communication skills: verbal, non-verbal and written
Sound morals, ethics and confidentiality with ability to develop trusting and effective working relationships with peers and employees
Diligent attention to detail
Thorough analysis, judgement and problem solving skills
Ability to exercise confidentiality and empathy are required when dealing with insureds and claimants
Demonstrated problem solving skills and negotiation skills are required for this position
Strong computer literacy, proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and Internet navigation
Good understanding of business processes and communication management
Significant strength in business office practices and procedures and actively pursue process enhancements
Proficient in telephone applications
Proficient typing skills, both in speed and accuracy
Understanding of the broker/agent distribution channel and the process interaction between insurer and broker/agent
Strong knowledge in the relevant processes between Canada Post and courier services
