As the

Member Service Representative (18-Month Contract),

you ensure every member feels supported, informed, and heard. Your ability to deliver accurate information, solve problems, and provide compassionate service directly impacts the member experience and strengthens the trust our clients place in us.



This is a

hybrid role

based out of our

Calgary office

, working onsite several days per week with the flexibility to work from home for the remainder.




What You'll Be Responsible For




Responding to members and providers via phone and email with accurate and timely information. Assisting members with claims and coverage inquiries with professionalism and care. Investigating complex inquiries to ensure responses are complete, accurate, and within SLA timelines. Processing health and dental claims with accuracy and attention to detail. Managing incoming inquiries from internal staff and sales offices. Filing correspondence and claims to maintain thorough and organized records. Supporting team quality by auditing your own claims and, when required, the work of team members.



What You Bring to the Table




Completion of, or near completion of, a post-secondary education program. Strong data-entry abilities with number-pad proficiency. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong listening abilities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a repetitive, fast-paced workload. Ability to remain composed and solution-focused during difficult or escalated calls. Ability to process and audit claims with accuracy.



Nice-to-Haves




1-2 years of experience in a call centre, medical office, or group benefits environment. Training in business writing. Fluency in French.

Compensation





At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $47,000-$50,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass the comprehensive total rewards package that we proudly offer.
