We are currently looking for Member Service Contact Centre Agents and are hiring for Full-time and Part-time positions.

  • Remote (within BC), hybrid or in office work available
A little about the role: The Member Service Agent supports Interior Savings? vision of sales and service excellence by proactively promoting a full range of ISCU's products and services. This position responds to a wide variety of requests over the telephone/email/web by determining needs and providing solutions to enhance members? financial well-being and contribute to organizational growth.

Through strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated sales and service experience this position works closely with the branches and other areas of the organization by responding to a wide variety of incoming telephone, or alternate channel, requests by determining needs and providing information and solutions to meet member needs using efficient organization and time management skills. While processing member transactions you provide seamless service to members and resolve member issues and/or complaints with a timely resolution. You participate in marketing and other campaigns aimed at achieving targets in business retention and growth.

You understand and are able to explain credit products and services, including creditor insurance while making referrals as required. You adhere to safety, privacy and security policies and procedures to protect Credit Union interests. Ongoing learning is required to excel in delivering member service across a variety of channels. You will also be assigned other duties as required.

Experience

Preferred
  • Financial planning courses considered an asset.
  • Previous contact centre experience preferred, but NOT mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of mutual funds (a Mutual Fund License is not required).
  • Knowledgeable in full range of investment products.
  • Basic understanding of credit products and procedures.
  • 2 - 3 years: Job related experience in a financial sales and service environment.

Education

Required
  • High School Diploma or better
Preferred
  • Some college or better
