We are seeking a Full-Time Member Experience Team Lead to join our Member Experience team at The Glencoe Club. As the Member Experience Team Lead you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member experiences through leading by example, cultivating positive relationships, engaging in meaningful conversations and providing a positive presence. You will deliver timely and accurate information to members, provide administrative support to the Supervisor and collaborate with the other staff in creating memorable moments for those around you. You will facilitate and initiate all aspects of the program registration experience, including event and activity set-up, troubleshooting Northstar issues and finding ways to make the registration process enjoyable for members.

Responsibilities:

Provides regular support and coverage of Member Experiences front desks and meets and exceeds customer's expectations in all service aspects Effectively addresses member feedback immediately and communicates applicable information onto the supervisor, team lead, and other team members as part of the feedback process Oversees maintaining training manuals, training of new hires in the department, and occasionally assists with hiring, doing performance check-ins and scheduling staff Identify ways in which experiences can be enhanced and plan ways to implement such changes Finds ways to customize and personalize the class registration experience for members so it is more enjoyable Ensures comprehensive training and use of the Northstar system all levels of users in Athletics and Recreation Assists with the entry and submissions for the Sports brochure and online content. Collaborates with department heads for submissions, proof all submissions and final document Assists with seasonal Member registrations of Club sports programs, and oversees Summer House and Non-Resident summer registrations

Qualifications:

Two to three years of experience within a customer service field, preferably in a?fast-paced?high-volume hospitality, recreation, or member-focused environment. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Proven leadership abilities and the ability to deal with difficult and confidential situations A team player who can lead, organize, engage and train staff effectively Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and interruptions Superior computer skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Internet and Windows Previous experience with booking and club management software is an asset A diplomatic, outgoing personality who is able to foster relationships with members and employees Current CPR Level C, AED training, as well as current Standard First Aid Certification

Additional Details:

This is a permanent year-round, full-time position reporting to the Member Experience Supervisor. The applicant shall be flexible as there could be occasional evening and weekend shifts required. Please state your hourly wage expectations as well as your availability in your cover letter.
