We\'re looking for top talent to join our Communications team as the Member Engagement Advisor!

As the Member Engagement Advisor, you are integral to helping shape Servus\'s voice with members. You steer proactive and reactive member communication to inform and delight members in a brand aligned manner. The intent is to build member affinity, inspire members to enhance their use of our cooperative banking products and services, and, ultimately, harness the power of members as our greatest ambassadors.

You work across the organization to identify, plan, execute and measure member communications in alignment with business objectives and needs. Working alongside key stakeholders to roll out changes impacting our members and participating in Servus\'s Agile Marketing squads will support your focus on member engagement.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Work across the organization to identify and coordinate member communication needs
  • Develop and steward implementation of a member communications/contact strategy and calendar
  • Lead management of member communications processes, ensuring systems and processes are fit-for-purpose as we grow and evolve, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of member communications from across the organization
  • Write/produce and oversee dissemination of mass member communication including e-mails, mobile and online banking messages, letters, in-branch material, website content, social media content and videos
  • Ensure all mass communication to members is brand-aligned and reflective of Servus\'s tone of voice
  • Provide training and templates for frontline staff to ensure individual communications reflect a high caliber of professionalism
Requirements:

To qualify, you\'ll need at least the following:
  • Minimum 7+ years of communications experience is required with at least 3 years of experience developing and implementing communications strategies / plans / programs
  • College diploma or university degree related to public relations, communications or journalism or a related discipline
Although not required, the following experience and education/certifications are valuable assets:
  • Experience working in a cooperative / member-based organization
  • Experience working with a large/complex organization
  • Marketing communications and/or brand experience
  • Experience working in the Agile methodology
  • Experience and/or training in graphic design, visual design, user experience and/or video production for communication
  • Membership in IABC or CPRS
  • Accreditation or certification in communications, public relations or marketing
