We are currently looking for a Member Cardholder Advisor I or II at our Member Contact Center.

Employment Status: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Compensation: $50,850 - $71,091 per annum, plus premiums!

Closing Date: June 28, 2032, end of day

Additional Information: This is a remote position, however, applicants must reside in Edmonton or surrounding area.

Reporting to the Team Lead - Member Contact Center your primary goal is to provide first point of contact online, through email, chats or by phone to support our members with their Mastercard. This is a fast-paced environment so efficiency and attention to detail is critical. Member support is focused on card services such as mobile payments, resolving concerns, and providing sound advice that will shape their financial fitness.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering cardholder inquires and providing superior member service via inbound calls, emails, chat, SMS, and outbound calls
  • Identifying opportunities and succeeding in meeting and exceeding targets by helping members meet their financial goals
  • Providing member technical support for online banking, and other e-commerce applications
  • Ensuring all documentation pertaining to cards, investments, loans, new accounts, etc. is prepared and/or executed in accordance with established policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Soliciting new members; fostering business development through service excellence and product knowledge.
  • Demonstrating basic knowledge of our current investment/retail banking services and products; and relevant policies and legislation by regularly reviewing literature, attending meetings and training sessions
  • Developing long-term relationships based on trust that contribute to a positive member experience
  • Participating in, and assisting in the creation of corporate and branch campaigns, and marketing/business development plans
  • Communicating product and service information, utilizing fact finding questions and professional responses to address objections
  • Exceeding members\' expectations and making them feel at home
Requirements:

This position will require at least the following:
  • 2-3 years of customer service, sales, or retail banking
  • High school diploma
We support our employees in pursuing the Professional Financial Planner (PFP Route) OR Certified Financial Planning (CFP Route) as this continuing education is a requirement of the role.

Although not required, the following experience, education/certificates are valuable assets:
  • Call center experience
  • Experience in providing financial advice or experience in a financial institution
