Job Description

We're a family-owned custom closet company (est. 1987) serving Waterloo Region, Guelph, Brantford, Woodstock, and surrounding areas. We are looking for a skilled Melamine / Closet Cabinet Installer to join our growing team. Most work is existing residential installations and new residential construction projects.

Position:

6-month contract at $30/hr, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role at $35-$40/hr based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Install custom melamine closet and storage systems to precise specifications Occasional wire shelving installation Read and interpret design drawings and measurements Load and transport project materials to site in company vehicle Project material preparation (cutting, drilling, etc.) Maintain quality, safety, and a clean work environment Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members
Requirements

2+ years' experience in cabinetry, closet installation, or millwork Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various environments Must provide own small/basic carpentry tools (larger tools and equipment provided) Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong personal organization skills Technologically savvy (use of email, tablet, etc.) Customer-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic Capable of working with others Meet and maintain all company and project safety requirements Possess and maintain current G driver's license with a clean abstract Operate company vehicle in a safe manner WHMIS and Working at Heights certification required
