About Script Runner

Medication plays an essential role in supporting daily health needs, from managing diabetes and high blood pressure to addressing depression, sleep disorders, and more. For customers unable to visit the pharmacy, ScriptRunner ensures timely and accurate prescription delivery through seamless coordination between pharmacies, drivers, and technology.

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Independent Contractor Dispatcher

to join the ScriptRunner network. This position runs

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

. In addition to dispatching duties, this contractor

must be able to deliver on the road when driver shortages occur

.

Roles and Responsibilities (Independent Contractor)

Assign medications to designated drivers and organize deliveries into appropriate batches Have strong knowledge of the Hamilton region to support efficient routing Scan and verify items, ensuring prices and delivery details are accurate Manage customer transactions using a company tablet Oversee a fleet of drivers and ensure all deliveries are completed successfully Manage customer complaints and escalate issues up the chain of command when necessary Deliver prescriptions on the road when driver coverage is low or during high-volume periods

Requirements for on-road delivery responsibilities:

A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, insurance, and registration A smartphone with a data plan (required for the driver/dispatcher app)

General requirements:

Documentation proving eligibility to work in Canada Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and customer service Backgrounds in security, community work, law enforcement, or related fields are an asset

Pay & Benefits

$18-$20 per hour

Additional earnings available when completing deliveries on the road
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
