The Company
Our client is a leading lifestyle agency based in Downtown Toronto. They are looking for a Medical Writer for a 1 year contract, with the opportunity for extension! Our client is primarily working from home, with the occasional in-office day.
The Position
The Medical Writer will work closely with subject matter experts to put together print and digital content for healthcare professionals and consumers. If you have a passion for data-driven research, are a critical thinker and have excellent communication skills, apply today!
- Research and write for educational, informative and promotional materials
- Work with drugs in the early phase, able to analyze and shape the interaction with the medical community
- Able to translate scientific content into terms healthcare professionals and consumers are able to understand
- Participate in market and background research
- 5+ years of medical writing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB) required
- Have a Masters of Science, and/or related field; PhD would be an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
