Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Position Overview:




As an Intern, you will support several Medical Services initiatives and be responsible for providing administrative support. This role provides first level support to business units for their inquiries and services. In addition, this role will support various Loblaw Corporate client groups by coordinating and following through on various medical services activities and projects.

What You'll Do:



Provide general administrative support including scheduling, filing, data entry, and document preparation. Assist in managing employee medical records and databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy standards. Track and follow up on case files, ensuring timely updates and communication with relevant stakeholders. Help organize and support immunization clinics, health campaigns, and employee wellness events. Conduct basic research on medical services and occupational health topics, preparing summaries for team use. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and communications for medical services initiatives Contribute to small projects and team initiatives that enhance the delivery of medical services across the organization. Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling all sensitive company information, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security protocols

What You'll Need:



Post-secondary education preferably in Health Sciences, Nursing, Occupational Health, Human Resources, or a related field Ability to interact with all levels of the organization Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information Solid digital literacy required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) Solid understanding of databases and the tools used to report/monitor them Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) Customer focused and able to nurture positive customer relations Highly organized and has a high degree of attention to detail Strong analytical skills and superior ability to problem-solve
