Job Overview


Growing cardiology office requires a full time medical secretary to join our team. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities


Warmly greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out processes.

Schedule appointments for diagnostic imaging procedures and maintain the appointment calendar efficiently.

Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records as needed.

Handle incoming phone calls and address patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications


Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in computer applications, including electronic health record systems.

Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Compassionate and patient-focused with a strong commitment to customer service.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
