The Medical Affairs team is at the forefront of transforming medical practice, driving impactful change in healthcare. As a Medical Science Partner - Ophthamology, you will play a meaningful role in demonstrating your scientific expertise to integrate these solutions into the healthcare system for both present and future needs.

Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate scientific/medical exchange on the latest advancements, acting as a trusted partner. Collecting, analyzing, sharing, and integrating insights into the integrated strategy. Building the external scientific communication strategy as part of an integrated omnichannel approach and ensuring impactful execution. Contributing to the regional access strategy. Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of product, disease, and therapeutic areas, including Roche assets and the competitive landscape. Leading or contributing to evidence generation projects. Collaborating cross-functionally, emphasizing field engagement and leveraging the broader network. Ensuring ethical, scientific, and quality standards while safeguarding patients' safety and Roche's reputation.

Who you are



You hold a University Degree in a Science Based Program (PhD, MSc, MD, PharmD, Biomedical, allied Health) 7+ years of relevant experience in life sciences or health care system sector. In this position, you will be servicing customers across Canada, therefore a proficient level of English is required and French is required. You have a robust understanding of pharmaceutical drug development, medical affairs strategies and relevant processes (eg. GCP, PV, Industry Codes & Regulations). You have the ability to travel depending on the business need. May vary from 15 to 30%. (Overnight travel - frequent).

Preferred:



Ophthalmology experience is preferred.

L'opportunite



Contribuer au developpement des capacites de Roche et repondre aux defis quotidiens des patients et de leurs soignants dans un ecosysteme de sante complexe. Jouer le role de Partenaire Scientifique Medical en demontrant une expertise scientifique pour integrer des solutions dans le systeme de sante, repondant aux besoins actuels et futurs. Engager les parties prenantes pour des echanges scientifiques/medicaux sur les dernieres avancees, en tant que partenaire de confiance. Collecter, analyser, partager et integrer des informations pertinentes dans une strategie integree. Elaborer et mettre en oeuvre une strategie de communication scientifique externe dans une approche omnicanal impactante. Developper une connaissance approfondie des produits, maladies et domaines therapeutiques, tout en surveillant le paysage concurrentiel. Participer et diriger des projets de generation de preuves tout en collaborant de maniere transversale et en mobilisant le reseau etendu. Garantir l'ethique, la qualite scientifique, la securite des patients et proteger la reputation de Roche.

Qui vous etes



Vous possedez un diplome universitaire dans un programme scientifique (PhD, MSc, MD, PharmD, sciences biomedicales, sciences de sante connexe). Vous avez plus de 7 ans d'experience pertinente dans les sciences de la vie ou le secteur du systeme de sante. Dans ce poste, vous serez amene a offrir vos services a des clients a travers le Canada. Ainsi, la maitrise de l'anglais est requise et le francais est obligatoire. Vous avez une solide comprehension du developpement pharmaceutique, des strategies des affaires medicales et des processus correspondants (par exemple : BPC, PV, codes et reglementations industriels). Vous etes dispose(e) a voyager en fonction des besoins de l'entreprise, ce qui peut representer entre 15 % et 30 % des deplacements (voyages avec nuitees frequents).

Une experience en ophtalmologie est fortement souhaitee.
