ValleyMed is a fast-growing medical device company located in Burlington, Ontario. We specialize in innovative products across general surgery, colorectal, women's health, and respiratory anesthesia. We're looking for a driven, experienced medical sales representative to join our team and help expand our reach across Canada.
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-performing, full-cycle sales representative to grow sales in both public and private healthcare markets. This role involves business development, account management, and strategic territory growth. It is ideal for a
hunter
--someone hungry to close deals, develop new markets, and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and sell to hospitals, surgical centers, and private clinics
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and clinical staff
Promote surgical, women's health, and anesthesia products
Report regularly on pipeline and customer activity using CRM tools
Travel within assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
Work both remotely and from our Burlington office
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience (non-pharmaceutical)
Demonstrated success in full-cycle sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets
Experience selling to both public and private healthcare systems
Background in one or more of the following:
General surgery or colorectal
Women's health
Respiratory products for general anesthesia
Strong business development and territory expansion skills
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
Comfortable with hybrid work (office + remote)
Motivated, self-starting, and performance-driven
