Job Title: Medical Reviewer

We are seeking a skilled Medical Reviewer with over 4 years of experience in post-marketing pharmacovigilance. The ideal candidate will hold an MD or an equivalent degree and possess a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system in the Americas. The role involves reviewing adverse events, evaluating seriousness and causality, composing company comments, and determining additional actions as necessary. Experience with Argus is essential as the work is performed in a safety database.
Responsibilities

• Review adverse events and assess seriousness and causality.
• Compose company comments and identify necessary additional actions.
• Utilize MedDRA coding and perform causality assessments.
• Accommodate fluctuating workloads to meet regulatory timelines.
• Undergo an extensive onboarding process lasting 6-8 weeks.

Essential Skills

• MD or DO or equivalent degree.
• 4+ years of experience in post-marketing pharmacovigilance.
• Experience in medical review of serious and non-serious cases.
• Proficiency in MedDRA coding and Argus database.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to pharmacovigilance.
• Up to 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including pharmacovigilance.
• Clinical practice experience in the Americas.
• Strong communication and flexibility skills.

Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. The role does not follow a traditional 9-to-5 schedule and requires flexibility to accommodate varying workloads. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
