Brilz Associate Clinic is Hiring a Full-Time Medical Receptionist



Our clinic is a busy medical clinic with two physicians and 4 support staff. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist for a full-time position in our fast-paced clinic. We are seeking an individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate must be organized and have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Ideally looking for a candidate with Med Access and Clinical experience, but willing to train the right candidate. Experience in a medical clinic is not necessary, but preferred.

An ideal candidate will have:



Previous experience in a medical clinic setting

Experience using an EMR system (preferred Med Access)

Great attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe

Superior multi-tasking

Must be able to work as part of a team

Reliable and punctual

Excellent time management skills

Strong awareness of patient confidentiality

Must be able to work with minimum supervision

:



- Working at the reception desk, greeting and checking in patients upon arrival

- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Verify patient health care information and collect any other necessary fees for service

- Maintain patient records and update any changes in personal information

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, e-faxing, and scanning documents

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

- Ensuring daily paperwork is completed

Experience



- We would prefer experience working as a medical receptionist - this is an asset, but not required

- Our office utilizes Med Access, and familiarity with this program would be an asset

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is also an asset

Job is Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00 pm, with some overtime until 6 pm when required. 1 Hr Lunch from 12-1 pm

Work Location: In-person

Starting wage is $20.00, with a wage increase after a successful 3-month probation.
