Overview

The Medical Receptionist must be comfortable with making decisions, working independently and as a team. There must be an eagerness to learn and acquire new skills. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, trustworthy individual to provide administrative duties in this fast-paced environment. This position is Monday to Friday with no shift work.

Abilities and Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to apply tact and sound judgement. Trustworthy, reliable and dependable. Maintains confidentiality of patient information. Experience with Telus EMR would be an asset.

Experience, Training and Work Record:

A Diploma from a post-secondary school in Medical Office Management or Office Administration with previous work experience in a related field. Strong computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office. Proficient in the English language. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
