Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s :

• Comme technologue en radiologie m\xc3\xa9dicale qui r\xc3\xa9alise des examens radiologiques g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9raux, sp\xc3\xa9cialis\xc3\xa9s, d\xe2\x80\x99urgence, d\xe2\x80\x99intervention et op\xc3\xa9ratoires en respectant les pratiques et proc\xc3\xa9dures s\xc3\xa9curitaires de radioprotection dans une clinique ou un h\xc3\xb4pital
• Mettre en \xc5\x93uvre des pratiques et des programmes d\xe2\x80\x99assurance et de contr\xc3\xb4le de la qualit\xc3\xa9 de l\xe2\x80\x99imagerie diagnostique
• Utiliser et entretenir les appareils et accessoires d\xe2\x80\x99imagerie num\xc3\xa9rique, comme la radiographie num\xc3\xa9rique, les syst\xc3\xa8mes d\xe2\x80\x99information de radiologie, les syst\xc3\xa8mes de radiographie assist\xc3\xa9e par ordinateur et les syst\xc3\xa8mes d\xe2\x80\x99archivage et de transmission d\xe2\x80\x99images

Qualifications

Tous les technologues en radiologie m\xc3\xa9dicale doivent, au minimum:

• Le technologue en radiologie m\xc3\xa9dicale doit avoir acquis au moins deux ann\xc3\xa9es d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience
• Avoir une certification et \xc3\xaatre inscrits (comme membre exer\xc3\xa7ant sa profession \xc3\xa0 temps complet) aupr\xc3\xa8s de l\xe2\x80\x99Association canadienne des technologues en radiologie m\xc3\xa9dicale (ACTRM) ou l\xe2\x80\x99Ordre des technologues en imagerie m\xc3\xa9dicale, en radio-oncologie et en \xc3\xa9lectrophysiologie m\xc3\xa9dicale du Qu\xc3\xa9bec (OTIMROEPMQ)
• D\xc3\xa9tenir un certificat de Soins imm\xc3\xa9diats en r\xc3\xa9animation cardiorespiratoire (RCR) \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99intention du personnel soignant ou l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quivalent, comme un certificat de Cardio-secours sur la r\xc3\xa9animation cardiorespiratoire et le d\xc3\xa9fibrillateur externe automatis\xc3\xa9 (RCR/DEA) Niveau C

Position Overview

Calian Health Services is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist for CFB St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. This role includes generous allotment of time for booked appointments, giving you the opportunity to provide quality care. A fully functional clinic with access to diagnostic and support services within the clinic or the local community.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging services in accordance with CAMRT and provincial Medical Radiation Technologist Association standards and scope of practice
• Provide diagnostic imaging reception services by recording and completing the patient\xe2\x80\x99s medical documentation
• Receive and process X-ray requisitions
• Prepare patients for examination and obtain patient consent (e.g. implied, verbal, or written) for procedures through accurate explanation and instruction
• Perform general, special, and emergency diagnostic imaging examinations by applying diagnostic radiographic and/or fluoroscopic and diagnostic imaging procedures or techniques

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Medical Radiation Technologist with the CAMRT or l\xe2\x80\x99Ordre des technologues en imagerie m\xc3\xa9dicale, en radio-oncologie et en \xc3\xa9lectrophysiologie m\xc3\xa9dicale du Qu\xc3\xa9bec (OTIMROEPMQ)
• Valid certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) to Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardio- pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPA/AED) Level C

Additional Requirements

• Strong communication skills in French
• You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
