Salary Range: $36.84 - $51.77
Position Summary:
Part-time position performing examinations in the Mammography and Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP). Primarily scheduled day shifts, although occasional evenings, or weekends may be scheduled due to department need. The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in Radiography is required
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is preferred
  • Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 from the CAMRT is required
  • Certificate in Breast Imaging (CBI) is preferred
  • Recent Mammography experience including all breast interventional procedures is required
  • Demonstrated excellence in breast positioning to consistently produce high quality mammograms
  • Evidence of continuing education related to the profession is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
