Your Opportunity:The South Zone leadership team is excited to announce a recruitment opportunity for a Medical Radiologic Technologist II in the Computed Tomography (CT) Scanning Department at the Pincher Creek Health Centre. Pincher Creek is a wonderful community of almost 4000 people located at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The community offers many outdoor activities including hiking and skiing with Castle Mountain Ski resort and Waterton National Park 30 mins away. The Technologist will work under the guidance of the site supervisor and will participate in a rotation that may be compiled of day, evening, weekend and on-call shifts. The technologist will work within the dynamics of the Diagnostic Imaging team, focusing on providing efficient, high-quality care to patients of the South Zone.Description:As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) II, you will perform specialized technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis. You may perform specialized diagnostic imaging procedures for Physician/Radiologist review, interpret physician requisitions and assist with the care and maintenance of imaging equipment.

Required Qualifications:Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:As Required. Preferred Qualifications:Previous CT experience is preferred. CTIC certification would be an asset. IV certification is preferred. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to assume responsibility, work effectively independently and within a team environment. They will be able to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
