We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office environment and possess a solid understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records.
Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
Maintain patient records accurately using electronic medical records systems.
Assist with the completion of insurance forms and other administrative paperwork.
Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate efficient care.
Ensure the office is organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Handle billing inquiries and assist with payment processing as needed.
Support dental reception tasks, including managing Dentrix software for patient scheduling.
Skills
Proficiency in medical office procedures, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
Experience working in a dental office setting is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
Ability to operate phone systems and manage front desk responsibilities efficiently.
Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Pay: $16.55-$19.00 per hour
