Medical Office Assistant/Phlebotomist :

Answering phone calls/ voicemails and calling patients back Take patient vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar. Inputting patient vital information in Accuro EMR. Exam room set up, maintenance and organization. Cleaning of rooms after each patient. Assist with other duties as assigned Preparing patients before drawing blood. Explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the process. Performing phlebotomy. Preparing patients before drawing blood. Knowledge and ability to perform laboratory protocols and procedures in accordance with regulations. Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions. Ability to multitask. Skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Knowledge of safety and infection control standards. Ability to successfully draw blood from patients with minimal or no complications. Empathy and interpersonal skills for working with patients. Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring patient confidentiality.

Must have

Professional certification in phlebotomy from an Accredited Phlebotomy institute

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
