We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant to join our team for a maternity leave position which may lead to a permanent position to support our patients and medical staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and other administrative/clinic tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a team player with interprofessional skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge/training of QHR Accuro EMR or similar required.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients.
Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
Maintain office supplies and equipment.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and faxing.
Cleaning exam rooms between patients, taking vitals
Successful candidate must have current police record, child abuse record, and be fully Covid immunized.*
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Winnipeg, MB R3M 2T4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
