Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office settings and possess strong administrative and organizational skills. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries

- Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical record systems. eg.

OSCAR.

- Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondences.

- Collaborate with other office/hospital staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a medical office setting

- Previous experience working with sending out referrals to specialists, clinics and hospitals.

- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as OSCAR is a plus

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20-25 per hour ( range depending on experience)

Expected hours: 40 per week
