Job Description

Family Physician's office, located near South Keys area is looking for a part-time/full-time office assistant. Looking for a motivated, friendly and energetic individual. Must be willing to learn, flexible, detailed oriented, efficient, computer literate and have great customer service. Experience in the field is an asset but not mandatory.

Preferably a candidate committed to staying long-term

. Part-time for now --> full-time in few months.Starting wages can be higher if >1yr experience as office assistant.

Roles and Responsibilities

Returning and triaging phone calls to patients and other healthcare professionals in a timely manner. Booking appointments and providing appointment confirmation. Administrative task such as faxing, scanning and organizing received faxes of the day. Efficiently and accurately documenting all patient information in electronic medical records. Greeting patients, verifying demographic, maintaining the daily flow of patients. Providing excellent customer service and addressing all patient inquiries.

Qualifications & Skills

College degree or higher Previous EMR experience an asset . Bilingualism an asset. (not required) Excellent patient communication skills. Self-motivation to deliver high quality results. Professional demeanor and appearance. Good time management skills.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
