We are a busy Family Physician group looking for an enthusiastic, positive, confident, and motivated Medical Office Assistant to join our team on a temporary 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave! Ideal candidate would have: *Strong organizational skills, time management and the ability to work in a busy environment with many interruptions and deadlines *Exhibit positive and professional behavior and attitude *Strong work ethic Job duties include (but are not limited to): The Medical Office Assistant is key to the smooth and efficient operation of the office and is responsible for providing a professional and positive impact when greeting patients and visitors and to ensure that patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently while providing clinical support to the primary care providers. *Admin support (including fax console, scanning, etc) *Assigning and directing patients to exam rooms; measuring ht, wt, blood pressure of pt. on occasion *Maintain inventory and organize supplies *Experience with PS Suite an asset Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:
Proof of COVID vaccination required prior to commencing employment as per company policy.
Daily COVID screening, PPE Work Location: One location
