Are you a personable and organized individual with a passion for healthcare? Symphony Health is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our growing team. We believe in our office staff working collaboratively with our primary practitioners to provide exceptional patient care. Your communication and administration skills will further improve both our reputation and operational ability as a clinic.

Key Responsibilities:



Patient Interaction:

Build rapport with patients ensuring a warm and welcoming experience during all phone interactions and clinic visits.

Administrative Support:

Manage appointments, medical records, and correspondence, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Phone Management:

Ensure quick response times and efficient resolution of patient inquiries, enhancing overall clinic productivity.

Clinical Assistance:

Support healthcare providers with patient care tasks, including preparing exam rooms, paperwork, supplies and test equipment.

Information Systems Management:

Utilize our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain accurate patient information and streamline clinic workflows.

Clinic Cleanliness

: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, tidying exam rooms between patients, and assisting with general cleaning duties as required.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with medical support professionals to relay critical patient information and ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:



Education Requirements:

High school diploma required; completion of a Medical Office Assistant program or relevant post-secondary education preferred but not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.

Excellent Communication:

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and over the phone.

Organizational Skills:

Proficient in managing multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

Interpersonal Skills:

Demonstrates empathy, patience and understanding to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Computer Literacy:

Willingness and ability to learn new systems as well as familiarity with common office software.

Experience:

Prior experience in a medical office setting is an asset but not essential.
