Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly organized and experienced

Patient Care Coordinator

to join our dynamic clinical team. This is a key front-line role responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience--from initial contact through to follow-up care. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative skills, a passion for patient service, and a background in medical office operations.

Key Responsibilities



Enroll and onboard new patients into the clinic's programs and services Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits Process and track medical referrals to specialists and imaging providers Manage clinic inventory and order medical and office supplies as needed Submit and reconcile billing to MSP, private insurers, and patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system Provide general medical office assistant support, including reception and back-office duties Ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality protocols in accordance with BC regulations Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and external healthcare partners

Qualifications



Minimum 3 years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator or Medical Office Assistant Familiarity with MSP billing procedures and private billing workflows Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems - ideally Telus CHR System. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong understanding of medical office workflows and best practices Previous experience in a private medical clinic setting is a strong asset MOA certification or equivalent healthcare administrative training preferred
