Medical Office Assistants (MOAs)

to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and register patients, ensuring accuracy of health and demographic information. Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently using the EMR system. Assist physicians with patient flow, documentation, and clinical preparation. Maintain infection prevention and control standards. Handle phone calls, emails, and faxes professionally. Prepare referrals, lab and imaging requisitions, and follow up on results. Support physicians with billing, scanning, and general administrative duties. Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming clinic environment.

Qualifications

Completion of a

Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk

program preferred. Experience with EMR systems (Healthquest, Accuro, PS Suite, or Ava) is an asset. Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills. Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude. Previous experience in a family medicine or walk-in clinic is an advantage.
