Role Description



Neurology Clinic is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing administrative tasks, have excellent interpersonal skills, be skilled in interacting with patients, and supporting our medical staff to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office and delivering an excellent experience for our patients.

Previous experience with Accuro is preferred.

Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Answering Phone Calls:

Handle incoming calls, manage patient inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up.

Patient Management:

Assist with patient flow within the clinic, including welcoming and preparing patients for their appointments.

Assisting Physicians:

Take and record patient vitals, supporting the physician during examinations.

Completing Assessments:

Fill out neurological assessment forms in collaboration with patients.

EMR Management:

Utilize Accuro EMR for filing records, managing medications, and scheduling patient appointments.

Documentation:

Scan and fax necessary paperwork to pharmacies and other healthcare providers.

Voicemail Management:

Check and promptly return voicemails from patients or other clinics.

Tool Maintenance:

Clean and maintain physician's tools (training will be provided).

Sanitization:

Ensure clinic instruments are properly sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Experience

Familiarity with Accuro EMR is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong computer skills and comfort with AI systems are essential. Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
A multilingual candidate is an asset but not required

Schedule:

6-8 hour shift Monday to Friday Full-time and part-time openings
Education:

Secondary School Graduate (required) additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
