This individual must have excellent communication in English (oral and written) and must be able to adapt to change and be willing to learn new tasks on a regular basis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients and complete registration upon arrival, booking, confirming & re-scheduling appointments as necessary
- Assign the patient to exam rooms
- Weighing Patients and taking their blood pressure
- Prepare exam rooms and clean as necessary
- Arrange patient investigations including laboratory requisitions, labelling specimens and filling out proper requisitions
- Review and process all incoming communications related to referrals and consultations in a timely fashion
- Filing of all patient investigations and communications
- Answer and manage phone calls including booking appointments and calls from other health care professionals
- Ability to prioritize and demonstrate accuracy and attention - Other duties as required:
