Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a

Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and professional, with a caring attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy clinic setting

Responsibilities:

Greet patients when they arrive at the office and provide them with any necessary paperwork or other information. Updates electronic medical record systems with the appropriate information as needed. Assist patients with re-scheduling appointments and other scheduling issues. Opens and closes the clinic daily. Processes payments and deposits. Schedule appointments and confirm appointments in advance. Various other administrative duties as required. Prepare exam rooms before and in between patients, setting up trays for medical procedures.
Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required Health Quest EMR experience is an asset Diploma/Certificate from a Medical Administration program or minimum 1 year of Medical Office experience is required. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, written, reading and comprehension). Other languages are considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
