2 reliable, detail oriented Medical Office Assistants
to join our team and support our busy practice. This role is integral to facilitating effective patient care while ensuring organized, timely, and professional management of daily operations.

Medical Office Assistants are critical to supporting the physician and ensuring that daily clinic operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate takes initiative and works collaboratively to improve processes and adapt to the evolving needs of patients and the community.
Meticulous attention to detail and consistency are essential, as the outcomes of daily tasks directly affect the quality and reliability of care provided to patients.
Responsibilities of MOAs include:
Front Desk Duties
Greeting and interacting with patients upon arrival
Registering new patients and updating demographics and medical histories
Answering phone calls promptly and responding to inquiries
Providing patients with relevant information
Communicating with patients through secure messaging as needed
Managing online appointment requests
Administrative Duties
Completing tasks assigned by the physician, including referrals, follow-ups, and other patient-related requests
Performing general administrative tasks and carrying out quality-improvement initiatives
Managing incoming and outgoing paperwork and sensitive health information appropriately
Submitting physician billing weekly
Clinical Support
Taking vital signs including blood pressure, height, weight, blood sugar, and oxygen saturation in adult and pediatric patients
Preparing and sanitizing examination rooms between patients
Packaging and labeling samples for laboratory pickup
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clinical equipment
Maintaining cleanliness and order in clinical areas
Tracking and managing inventory for medical supplies and medication samples
Collaboration & Documentation
Entering information accurately into the EMR system
Documenting patient interactions and other relevant clinical or administrative notes thoroughly
Assisting the physician in facilitating urgent patient needs, coordinating with other healthcare providers as necessary
Upholding clinic policies while maintaining professionalism with patients
Providing feedback and ideas for workflow optimization in clinical and administrative processes
Required Qualifications:
Medical Office Assistant and/or Unit Clerk Certification
CPR Level C and/or BLS certification considered an asset
At least 2 years of prior experience in a clinical setting
Experience with Accuro EMR system
Experience with third party billing
Strong administrative skills with experience in office management tasks
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
