Our group is looking for a full-time Medical Office Assistant to join our team for a 6-month term. The successful candidate will be part of a tight-knit administrative group providing exceptional support to our patients and orthopaedic surgeons.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to multitask and problem-solve, and must be friendly and outgoing while possessing the following skills:
Excellent computer knowledge (MS Office, G Suite)
Work well in a team setting but also be able to work independently.

The successful candidate should have the following experience:
Minimum of 2 years working in a busy office environment
Experience working in an EMR (MedAccess) would be considered an asset
Responsibilities include:
Provide excellent patient care and maintain the strictest confidentiality.
Provide support to the Physicians, Surgeons, and other members of the BSM team.
Accurately maintain patient records.
Process referrals, book and confirm appointments
Greet patients, review forms, and explain the next steps.
Respond to inquiries (telephone, email and fax)
