, we are a multidisciplinary MSK pain management clinic dedicated to helping patients overcome muscle and joint conditions and return to full, active lives. As a fast-paced medical clinic with a strong emphasis on patient care, we're looking for a

full-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

who is comfortable supporting reception, scheduling, patient intake, and day-to-day clinic flow.

The Medical Office Assistant will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient service, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records using our EMR (Accuro).

What You'll Do



Greet and register patients, acting as the first point of contact -- in person and over the phone. Manage appointment scheduling and booking with accuracy and efficiency. Provide clear information to patients about upcoming visits, procedures, or documentation requirements. Liaise with referring physicians, physiotherapists, and other care providers to support smooth coordination of care. Update and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring all information is complete and current. Handle Alberta Health, WCB, private-pay, and third-party billing with attention to detail. Assist clinicians with patient flow and provide support during assessments or treatments when needed. Review reports and ensure they are completed and delivered on schedule. Provide coverage for the Patient Coordinator and help with general clinic administration. Uphold strict confidentiality and follow all clinic policies, procedures, and protocols.

What You Bring



Strong multitasking and time-management abilities in a busy healthcare setting. Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-centered approach. Demonstrated experience in healthcare administration, medical reception, or clinical front-desk roles. Proficiency with EMR systems --

Accuro experience is an asset

. Comfort supporting medical scheduling, patient intake, and medical billing workflows. A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a multidisciplinary team.

Education & Experience



Completion of a recognized

Medical Office Assistant

or

Health Care Administration

program (or equivalent experience). Minimum

2 years of experience

in a medical clinic or healthcare administrative role preferred. Experience in MSK, pain management, or multidisciplinary clinics considered an advantage. Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and medical software.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
