We specialize in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, medical injectables, and medical-grade skincare and procedures. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate:

Holds a Medical Office Assistant Diploma, including coursework in medical terminology. Is client-centered and shares our passion for providing the best possible patient care and experience. Demonstrates excellent written, verbal, and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Is discreet and maintains the highest standards of confidentiality. Brings a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and professionalism to the team. Has previous healthcare or Connect Care experience (preferred). Possesses strong phone communication skills, handling patient and professional interactions with warmth and accuracy. Experience with Nextech, and Connect Care is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities



Answer phones with kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism to ensure patient comfort and confidence. Communicate effectively with both cosmetic and reconstructive patients regarding treatments and appointments. Manage and respond to emails, web leads, and in-person inquiries from both Alberta Health Care and cosmetic patients. Act as a liaison for Dr. Humphreys, coordinating communication and care for his patients. Book, confirm, and reschedule consultations, follow-ups, and surgical appointments for all patient types. Counsel patients regarding upcoming appointments and procedures as needed. Manage Dr. Humphreys' calendar across multiple locations with accuracy and foresight. Identify and resolve scheduling challenges in collaboration with our nurse manager and hospital staff. Prepare, file, scan, and maintain accurate patient charts and billing records. Ensure accuracy in billing and data entry at all times.
