Medical Office Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator required for Specialty Surgical / Medical Clinics in the lower mainland.
A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred but not required.
The practice uses Accuro EMR, experience is a plus. Strong computer skills (typing, email, internet, MS office, etc.) are required.
Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational talents, a professional demeanor and a great attitude. The ability to formulate independent thought processes and superior time management skills / multi-tasking are required.
The office has 2 surgeons. It is a modern and challenging environment surrounded by a group that loves to have fun.
Successful candidate will be working alongside our surgeons to provide front end administrative duties as well as clinical assistance for certain procedures. Assisting with an affiliated medical esthetics business is also required.
Duties including but not limited to; answering phones, booking appointments, rooming patients, referrals, exam room set-up / take-down, patient registration, scanning and electronic filing, letters, office management, inventory management, light cleaning, sterilization of tools, etc.
Compensation is based on experience.
Must be available weekdays and a rare Saturday.
Must be available to work at Vancouver and Burnaby practices.
