We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional administrative support and patient care. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.

Responsibilities



Greet patients and visitors warmly at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar using electronic medical records systems. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective patient care.

Experience



Previous experience as a receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment. Proficiency in using phone systems and general office equipment is required. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for managing multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
