Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional administrative support. This position involves managing patient interactions, maintaining electronic medical records, and assisting with various office tasks to enhance the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries effectively. Schedule appointments. Booking testings requested. Accurately input and update patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems we use Plexia. Confirming appointments.

Experience

Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the team and with patients. Proficiency in using Plexia or similar practice EMR software is a plus. Strong administrative skills, including experience with phone systems and electronic medical records management. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service to enhance patient satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
