We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Administrator
with a background in healthcare
to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the daily operations of our medical office, ensuring efficient patient flow and providing exceptional customer service. This position can be full-time or part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time based on office needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient scheduling and appointments.
Oversee patient registration and ensure accurate documentation.
Handle medical billing and insurance claims processing.
Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Coordinate communication between healthcare providers and patients.
Administer injections as required, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
Assist in managing office supplies and equipment.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
Collaborate with medical staff to enhance workflow and patient care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in OSCAR EMR.
Must have experience in administering injections. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
Nursing background or experience as an International Medical Graduate (IMG) is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, and insurance processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work late hours and weekends.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
