Duties

Conduct various laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results while adhering to quality control standards. Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are properly calibrated and functioning. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care. Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and practices.

Skills

Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and practices. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical terminology. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Effective communication skills for collaborating with medical staff and patients. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is a plus.
