Responsibilities:

This position requires a certified MDR technician to set up, clean & reprocess instruments on surgical days.
Maintaining equipment, setting up a routine and monitoring quality control of washers and autoclaves as well as the integrity of sterilization.
Keeping records and logs up to date are also essential along with stocking necessary supplies and organizing and cleaning the sterilization area.

Experience:

Minimum grade 12 education required
Current certificate from a recognized college level Medical Device Reprocessing course or CSA Medical Device Reprocessing Certification
One-year OR experience preferred
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Strong organizational skills are necessary
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain integrity of work
Detail orientated
Team player but also works well independently
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Commitment to employment and optimal attendance record required
The ideal candidate works well on a team and is organized and committed to ensuring infection control remains top priority.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
