Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) Technician

to join our growing team.

We are open to full time or part time candidates.

The MDR Technician plays a key role in ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared in accordance with CSA standards and facility policies. This vital role supports our physicians and nurses in delivering the highest standard of patient care.

What You Will Be Doing



Cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and CSA standards. Operating sterilizers and other medical reprocessing equipment safely and efficiently. Conducting biological and chemical testing to ensure the effectiveness of sterilization. Maintaining accurate records of sterilizer loads and quality control documentation. Inspecting instruments for functionality and setting aside non-operational items for repair. Managing sterile storage areas and ensuring items are rotated and tracked appropriately. Supporting nurses and physicians by providing sterile instruments and supplies as needed. Adhering to infection control and safety regulations at all times.

What You Will Bring



Completion of a

Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) Course

from a recognized institution or College. CSA certification or eligibility for certification. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
