We are a growing & Fast-paced medical/surgical clinic looking for a
part-time
Ophthalmic Technician! Availability for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are a must--possibility for more hours.
As an ophthalmic technician you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Vision testing
Diagnostic testing
Instilling drops
Taking medical history
Calling patients into examining and technical rooms
Direct patient care
Updating and working on patients medical charts
Qualifications:
A positive and upbeat attitude
Multitasking skills
Superior customer service skills
Moderate computer knowledge
Strong typing ability
Strong verbal communication skills
Bilingualism (asset)
Ability to work in a team as well as on your own
Experience not mandatory - all training is done on site!
You will be working primarily out of our Carling location, 2211 Carling Avenue. We do have a second location at 1010 Belfast Road, where you may be requested to work.
