Position: Medical Affairs Operations Coordinator
Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid)
Salary: $40+ per hour
Job Type: 1-year contract
We're hiring a Medical Affairs Operations Coordinator to support medical affairs projects with one of our pharmaceutical clients. This role is well-suited for someone with strong project coordination skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience working in healthcare or pharmaceutical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate medical projects such as advisory boards, symposia, and awareness campaigns.
- Manage the review and approval of scientific and promotional materials in Veeva Vault.
- Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth execution.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and vendor costs, supporting audits as needed.
- Provide scheduling, travel, and administrative support to the medical team.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, IMC guidelines, and company SOPs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical communications.
- Proficiency in Veeva Vault, SAP, Veeva CRM, and MS Office tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
- Project Management certification is an asset.
