Lakeridge Health is seeking a proactive and experienced Medical Affairs Associate to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the strategic and operational success of the Medical Affairs Office by providing high-quality administrative and coordination support. You will work closely with Credentialed Staff Leaders and Credentialed Staff to ensure that Medical Affairs functions are delivered with excellence, efficiency, and alignment to Lakeridge Health's strategic goals. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.



As a key liaison between Medical Affairs and multiple internal and external stakeholders, you will help implement innovative and future-focused approaches to support Credentialed Staff Leadership, recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, and organizational engagement.




DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





" Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Affairs Office and assigned Credentialed Staff Leaders.

" Serve as a central point of contact for credentialed staff leaders, coordinating communications, departmental updates, and the implementation of policies and procedures.

" Support credentialed staff recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with the Medical Staff Coordinators, including intake, credentialing, and onboarding/orientation.

" Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic Medical Affairs initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement activities.

" Facilitate effective liaison and relationship-building between Medical Affairs, credentialed staff, hospital administration, and external partners.

" Champion the use of technology and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint) to improve service delivery and process efficiency.

" Maintain accurate documentation and tracking systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

" Uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.

" Contribute actively to a collaborative, high-performing team environment that values mutual respect, support, and continuous learning.

QUALIFICATIONS:





" Diploma in Medical Office Administration or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

" Minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare, academic, or medical affairs setting.

" Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and other relevant digital tools (tested).

" Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

" Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

" Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence (including memos, meeting minutes) and presentations.

" Knowledge of healthcare systems, credentialing processes, and medical staff governance is a strong asset.

" Demonstrated project coordination and facilitation experience.

" Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and a service-focused approach.

" Understanding and commitment to Lakeridge Health's safety practices and continuous learning culture.

" Ability to travel between Lakeridge Health sites as needed.
