Job Description

National Institute is a Registered Private Career College in Brampton, Ontario and we are currently looking for a highly experienced Medical Aesthetics Instructor.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of and be able to train students both on theory and practical on High-frequency, Laser & IPL hair removal and skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, aromatherapy, skin tag removal, vascular lesions, acne and other advanced skin treatments. Small business management and marketing are also part of teaching in this role.

We prefer someone who has sales experience in the past and require someone with teaching experience. This role is a part-time position with potential to turn full-time in the future.

Requirements:

- Two years of teaching experience in the field OR,

- Four years of working experience in the field

- Diploma in Medical Aesthetics from a Canadian college or university is a must

- English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking

- Customer service and sales experience is preferred (1-2 years)

- Valid G Class driver's licence and access to vehicle is preferred

- Weekend or evening availability to teach is preferred

Duties:

Other than the actual teaching duties, the Medical Aesthetics Instructor will also:

- track attendance of students and maintain student files

- Mark and record student grades

- Be an ambassador for the school and its programs to current, prospective and alumni students at all times

- Prepare and administer lesson plans and tests, assignments based on curriculum provided

- Collaborate with other team members to integrate new students into the class and provide and receive feedback

- Ensure classroom & clinic supplies are stocked at all times

- Maintain cleanliness in the classroom and clinics at all times

- Enforce school policies in the classroom and also abide by the same

- Promote classrooms and work on social media in collaboration with other team members

- Supervise students at outreach trips or events

The teaching schedule will be at least 2-3 days a week and class times can range between 9:30 am to 2:30 pm or 10 am to 3 pm on weekdays or weekends. We prefer someone who is available to teach in evenings and weekends.
