Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of aesthetic treatments including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin injections, laser treatments, body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and hair styling. Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin conditions, discuss treatment options, and develop customized skincare plans aligned with clients' goals. Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY to ensure smooth daily operations. Educate clients on skincare products and procedures through product demos and detailed explanations to promote retail sales and ongoing client engagement. Maintain strict sanitation standards by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including proper sterilization of tools and treatment areas. Upsell additional services or products confidently by understanding client needs and highlighting benefits tailored to their aesthetic goals. Keep detailed records of treatments performed, client preferences, and progress using salon management systems. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries via phone or social media management platforms, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Support social media management efforts by creating engaging content that showcases treatments, client transformations, and special promotions to attract new clients. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certification requirements through ongoing education in esthetic laser treatment, tattooing, hair extensions, nail care, color theory, and other relevant fields.

Skills

Proven expertise in esthetic procedures such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), laser treatments, body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, hair styling, nail care, tattooing, and straight razor shaving. Strong management skills to handle appointment scheduling and client flow efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards. Familiarity with salon software systems like Millennium or MINDBODY for booking and record keeping. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Knowledge of sanitation protocols specific to medical aesthetics to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience in retail sales techniques with a focus on upselling products related to skincare and beauty treatments. Ability to manage social media platforms effectively for marketing purposes. Skilled in guest services with a hospitality mindset that makes every client feel valued and cared for. Competence in handling advanced aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers or laser treatments with proper certification where applicable.
