The Role:



Are you a patient focused professional with excellent communication skills and healthcare experience?

KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. is growing and we are recruiting for a full-time CSR for our MRI Administration team at our head office in Mississauga.

The Accountabilities:



This goal of this position is to provide efficient, accurate and patient-centered administrative support that ensures smooth MRI scheduling, optimal workflow coordination and an excellent experience for patients and referring providers. The key accountabilities of the role include:

- Respond to high volume of inbound and outbound calls promptly.

- Execute bookings for MRI's and other medical services.

- Support in conducting quality checks established by BOT to verify the accuracy and availability of all information for appointments.

- Meet and achieve KPI's and performance goals. Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner within pre-defined KPI's for the team. Utilize Tableau daily to facilitate KPI attainment

- Optimize clinic capacity

- Be the first point of contact for patients during their in-clinic experience. Build and develop relationships with both new and existing patients, physician offices and other healthcare facilities.

- Greet patients and visitors as they arrive. Respond to patient check-ins, enquiries and phone calls. Facilitate patient flow by communicating patients' arrival and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner. Accurately register patients by obtaining complete demographics, insurance information and consent.

- Ensure tasks including New bookings, Rescheduling, Cancellation, Arrivals and Upload Reports are completed in a timely manner within pre-defined KPI's for team

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow ups. Build rapport with patients by responding to inquiries and provide clear explanation of test procedure and preparations per protocols.

- Maintain attention to detail for all medical records. Scan documents into patient charts and ensure:

1. All required forms and documentation are completed per check in protocols

2. All prior requests and documentations are received in a timely manner

- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide and gather information, enabling patient requirements to be dealt with efficiently

Required skills and experience:



- Medical office experience

- Cardiology practice experience is an asset

- Demonstrated high quality, compassionate, patient centred experience

- Proven ability to work proficiently and independently in a busy fast paced clinic environment

- Ability to establish priorities and achieve objectives with minimal supervision

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Good telephone etiquette

- Proficiency in technology including MS Office and EMR systems experience

- Strong understanding of medical terminology

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to deal with sensitive information with a high degree of privacy and diplomacy

- Team player with good interpersonal skills and flexibility

We are recruiting for 2 full-time positions:

Position 1: Monday-Friday 10.00 am-6.00 pm



Position 2: Monday- Friday 8.00 am-4.00 pm



Saturday's are required on rotation with the team.
