The Role



We are seeking a Media & Communications Specialist to elevate Atlas's public voice and strengthen our market positioning. This individual will manage all aspects of content creation, digital presence, and brand storytelling -- ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across every channel.

You'll take ownership of Atlas's social media, newsletters, website updates, and media outreach, driving engagement with our partners, investors, and the broader energy community. This role collaborates closely across departments to align messaging with corporate objectives and technical accuracy.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute a comprehensive digital communications strategy aligned with company goals. Manage all corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.), ensuring consistent tone, visuals, and technical accuracy. Produce engaging written and visual content, including posts, infographics, and short videos highlighting product milestones, partnerships, and company culture. Plan, write, and distribute the Atlas Monthly Newsletter, covering company updates, technology insights, and industry developments. Oversee website updates and coordinate with internal teams for new product or event launches. Maintain brand standards across digital and print materials, presentations, and trade show assets. Capture or coordinate basic photo and video content for digital campaigns and internal storytelling. Manage light video editing or coordinate with vendors for larger productions. Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to translate complex technology into accessible, compelling stories. Track analytics and performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach. Support public relations, media inquiries, and external communications initiatives.

Success Will Be Measured By



Growth in social engagement and follower base. Consistency of brand voice across all platforms. Newsletter open and click-through rates. Measurable improvements in audience awareness and lead generation.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or corporate communications. Strong writing and storytelling ability -- capable of explaining technical content in clear, engaging language. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent design tools. Experience managing corporate LinkedIn and YouTube channels. Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar newsletter platforms. Understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital engagement metrics. Knowledge of clean technology, energy, or engineering sectors is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
