Cape Breton University invites applications for the role of Med One Coordinator. This role is a Full Time Continuing role.In partnership with Dalhousie University, Cape Breton University proudly introduces the Cape Breton Medical Campus (CBMC) in Sydney, NS, preparing to welcome its inaugural student cohort in 2025. Dedicated to enhancing healthcare across Nova Scotia, our mission focuses on expanding rural family medicine and fostering interdisciplinary education and research.CBU is seeking a Pre-clerkship Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our undergraduate office, managing the pre-clerkship curriculum and student assessments. The Coordinator will ensure compliance with accreditation standards and facilitate smooth operations across our distributed sites. This position demands a keen understanding of medical education policies, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.Working closely with senior CBMC staff, the Coordinator will oversee curriculum development, manage online tools, and coordinate scheduling to optimize student learning experiences. Responsibilities include exam administration, evaluation management, and fostering effective communication among faculty, staff, and students. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office and educational platforms, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic academic environment.Candidates should possess a Business/Office Administration degree and a minimum of five years\' experience in health professional education or a related field. Strong decision-making abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with educational platforms like Brightspace and One45 are essential. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to work are highly valued, along with a commitment to supporting CBMC\'s mission in medical education.Applications for the successful candidate will include a:
